In a bid to strengthen political alliances and ensuring a seamless electoral process, Mr. Dunamis Archibong, the Senior Special Assistant on Political Affairs to the Governor, Office of the Chief of Staff, convened a familiarization meeting with the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) in Calabar. This gathering, spearheaded by Engr. Edet Effiom, who serves as the Chairman of IPAC in Cross River State, was strategically organized for more collaboration and unity among various political entities.
During the meeting, Archibong outlined the government’s readiness to work in tandem with all political parties, highlighting the administration’s commitment to transparency and inclusivity in governance. He reiterated the importance of fostering a collaborative environment where all voices are heard and respected. This approach not only enhances democratic principles but also ensures that the needs and aspirations of the electorate are prioritized.
Dunamis Archibong urged the party leaders present to actively align themselves with the vision of Governor Sen. Prince Bassey Otu and as well work closely with the Inter-Party Affairs unit. He stressed that unity among political factions is crucial for effective governance and sustainable development in Cross River State. By emphasizing shared goals and mutual support, he called upon the leaders to champion the collective interests of their constituencies, ultimately working toward a greater Cross River.
