On September 21st, 2024, the vibrant city of Lagos played host to an exclusive gathering of influential personalities at the private preview of Donna Duke’s inaugural solo exhibition, “Red Thread.” Held at the elegant venue of 12 Glover Road in Ikoyi, the event commenced at 4:00Pm and showcased a diverse array of artworks, including paintings, mixed media, and installations that delve into the theme of human connection.

Among the distinguished attendees were His Excellency, Mr. Donald Duke, former governor of Cross River State, and his amiable wife, Her Excellency Pastor Onari Duke, the parents of the great innovator, alongside Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, and other notable figures.
