REBRANDED ROVERS FC CALABAR DOMINATES MAY/FRANK FC IN A CLASH OF LOCAL FOOTBALL TITANS

Rovers Football Club, Calabar, now revitalized and rebranded, under the leadership of Mr. Etim Okon, as the new helmsman, showcased their prowess in recent pre-season friendlies. The match against the esteemed May/Frank FC at the iconic Hope Waddell Training Institution left every spectator satisfied. This match not only demonstrated Rovers’ commitment to improved performance but also served as a critical opportunity to finalize their roster ahead of the eagerly awaited Nigeria National League (NNL) 2024/2025 season which begins soon.
From the outset, Rovers FC executed a remarkable attacking strategy, quickly establishing dominance. May/Frank’s Emmanuel Inyang opened the scoring, Bruno Emmanuel equalized with a clinical goal followed by Ifnotgod Daniel converting a penalty. Emmanuel Otiyu then scored directly from a corner, and Ifnotgod capped it off with a solo effort to bring the total tally to four goals.
