LOVE KNOWS NO AGE, PSOVAAP FOUNDATION’S SELFLESS ACT.

By Blessing Bassey.

The Putting Smiles On Vulnerable And Aged People (PSOVAAP) Foundation recently visited the Home of the Aged in Calabar, spreading joy and appreciation to the elderly residents. One of the Team Lead from the Foundation delivered a heartfelt speech, thanking the aged for their warmth and love towards one another, as well as the dedicated Sisters who care for their well-being. He assured them that the visit was merely the beginning, promising future visits from the foundation.

To commemorate the occasion, PSOVAAP Founder, Mrs. Helen Ofie Ogar, chose to celebrate her birthday with the Aged, presenting them with thoughtful gifts.

The celebrant’s kind gesture was met with gratitude and warmth from the recipients.

The event took on a spiritual tone as the Aged residents offered prayers for the founder and the PSOVAAP team, who reciprocated with blessings of their own.

The visit was a testament to PSOVAAP’s commitment to supporting vulnerable populations. Through such outreach programmes, the Foundation fosters a sense of community and hope among the elderly, as the Home of the Aged was filled with smiles and renewed spirits, thanks to the compassion and generosity of Mrs. Helen Ogar and the PSOVAAP Foundation.

The act of kindness will undoubtedly leave a lasting impact on the lives of these cherished senior citizens.
